This Privacy Policy explains how BudgetFlow Lite ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who we are

BudgetFlow Lite is a personal budgeting and expense-tracking application developed by b.c.studio (the "Developer"), based in Hong Kong. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at ellery6667@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

2.1 Information you create in the App (stored on your device)

The budgets, expenses, categories, notes, and other financial records you enter are stored locally on your device. This information is not transmitted to us and we do not have access to it. If you uninstall the App, this data is removed from your device.

2.2 Information collected automatically by third-party services

To keep the App free and to improve it, we integrate third-party services (see Section 4). Through these services, the following information may be collected automatically:

• Device and technical information — device model, operating system version, language, and app version.
• Advertising identifiers — such as the Google Advertising ID (AAID), used to serve and measure advertisements.
• Usage and diagnostic data — anonymous interaction events, crash reports, and performance metrics.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location within the App itself.

3. How we use information

• To provide and maintain the core budgeting features of the App.
• To display advertisements that keep the App free to use.
• To understand how the App is used and to improve its features and stability.
• To diagnose crashes and technical problems.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies governing how they process data:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — Google Privacy Policy. See also How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
• Google Firebase Analytics (usage analytics) — Firebase Privacy & Security.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting) — Firebase Privacy & Security.

These providers may act as independent data controllers for the data they collect. We encourage you to review their privacy policies. If you remove any of these SDKs from your app, delete the corresponding bullet above so this policy stays accurate.

5. Advertising and your choices

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob and its partners. These networks may use advertising identifiers and cookies to show personalized ads. You can control ad personalization:

• On Android, open Settings → Google → Ads to reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization.
• Learn more at Google Ads Settings.

Where required by law (for example, under GDPR in the EEA/UK), a consent prompt is shown before personalized ads are served, and you may choose non-personalized ads.

6. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK users)

Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we (and our service providers) rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for personalized advertising and analytics where required), and our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App.

7. Data retention

Data you enter in the App remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by third-party services is retained according to those providers' own retention policies (linked in Section 4).

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data held about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including personalized advertising.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. How to delete your data

• On-device data: delete individual records inside the App, or uninstall the App to remove all local data.
• Advertising/analytics data: reset or opt out of your advertising ID as described in Section 5, and contact the relevant provider using their privacy policy.
• Requests to us: email ellery6667@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Children's privacy

BudgetFlow Lite is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International data transfers

Our third-party providers may process data on servers located in countries other than your own. Where applicable, they implement safeguards required by law for such transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
